Participants' Information

 

Information Desk

The Info Desk is located close to the Conference Office in Fürstenberghaus.

The staff and student assistants wearing coloured name badges or T-shirts are at your disposal for any questions about the conference, for orientation in Münster, on accommodation, restaurants, nightlife and cultural events.

The opening hours are the following:

Monday 27.03.2017 08.00 - 19.00
Tuesday 28.03.2017 08.00 - 16.00
Wednesday 29.03.2017 08.00 - 16.00
Thursday 30.03.2017 08.00 - 16.00
Friday 31.03.2017 08.00 - 12.00


Conference Ticket

All participants will receive a ticket for public transport. Your name-tag in combination with the conference ticket will authorize you to use all busses and trains in Münster from 27 March to 31 March 2017.

Lost and found property

You can donate funds on the information desk. There you can also pick up your lost property.

Cloakroom

Student assistants will serve wardrobes at several conference venues:

  • In the Fürstenberghaus (basement, F040),
  • In the Schloss (basement),
  • In the Hörsaalgebäude H1 (ground floor).

In the Vom-Stein-Haus (EG) safe deposit boxes are available.

All participants are asked to take care of their wardrobe and valuables. We assume no liability.

 

Internet

The Univeristy of Münster is member of the Eduroam union. Users from eduroam institutions, who have registered for eduroam, can use WLAN at the without local registration. The WLAN SSID is eduroam.

In addition you will receive login data for a personalised access to the university network with your registration in the Conference.

 

Catering

Coffee and tea are offered for free during the breaks in the following conference locations: Schloss, Hörsaalgebäude, Juridicum and Fürstenberghaus.

During the exhibition on industry and literature there is a throughout open café-lounge in the Vom-Stein-Haus.
Beverages and pastries will be served.

You can get snacks and refreshments as well at the:

- Mensa am Ring, Domagkstraße 61
- Mensa Bispinghof, Bispinghof 9
- Mensa am Aasee, Bismarckallee 11
- Bistro Hüfferstift, Hüfferstraße 27
 

Also there will be Food trucks in the courtyard of the Vom-Stein-Haus from Monday till Friday 11:30 - 14:30.

Child care on campus during the DPG conference

Child care is offered via the WWU Servicebüro Familie in cooperation with the equal opportunities office during the conference (27.03.-31.03.2017). The children will be supervised by qualified personnel from pme Family Service.

Fees
Child care is provided free of charge.

Place
Child care for children starting at 2 can be provided in the facilities of pme Family Service (Friesenring 50) stattfinden.

Child care from 0 to 2 will be offered in the Kinder-Eltern-Raum of the University Library (Krummer Timpen 3), close to the conference venue.

Registration
The registration of the required child care hours for children up to 2 years is needed in written form until 17.02.2017. The registration for children age 2 and older is needed in written form till 15.03.2017.

Please communicate the following information

  • Exact periods for child care
  • Details on the child (birth date, allergies, handicaps etc.)
  • Contact information of the parents (in particular mobile)
